Spiders, lizards, rats, frogs, beetles, and stray dogs inhabit every corner of Guangzhou. Fortunately, no rats have made it in to our apartment, but this spider in the stairwell made me nervous about sleeping at night. This photo was taken on June 28, 2005. |
